About Fleming Yachts Europe
Fleming Yachts Europe Ltd was formed in late 2009 to specifically serve the needs of Fleming owners and potential owners throughout Europe. It is our aim to provide the highest level of personal service and to respond quickly and thoroughly to your every yachting need. We offer new yacht sales, full commissioning, warranty work, parts, yacht delivery, brokerage, charter and outfitting services. Our sincere goal is to exceed your expectations in every manner and to make your entire yachting experience an enjoyable one.
Who We Are
David Miles was born in 1972 in Kent and educated in London. He earned a higher diploma from Warash Maritime College in the UK studying Yacht Manufacturing, Design and Management. He currently holds a Commercial Ocean Yachtmaster and has served as either captain or crew on yachts up to 72 metres. (240 ft.) He was the manager of a large marina for several years and later became a delivery captain for the Grand Banks dealer in the UK. David was first introduced to Fleming by serving as a captain of a Fleming 55 based in Norway and later became the European sales manager for the Fleming dealer in the UK. In the Spring of 2006 he joined Tony Fleming aboard VENTURE, Fleming 65 001, cruising from Mexico to Alaska. After working for Fleming Yachts in California, he returned to the UK to set up Fleming's new European dealership.
Allan Johns was born in 1959 in Appledore in North Devon and comes from a family of fishermen. Before joining the marine industry in 1999 he has worked as an electrician, commercial diver, accident investigator and as part of a search, rescue and recovery team for the film industry. His professional boating experience includes working for Azimut, Sealine, Grand Banks, Corvette and Fleming.
